Meet our Team....

David Hahklotubbe, M.A. – Executive Producer and Host:

Mr. Hahklotubbe (Hawk – low – tubby) has vast experience and an inexhaustible passion as a Gerontologist.  Merging his expertise in long-term care and his background in teaching, David set out to deliver the much needed and often avoided education regarding all facets of the aging process.  In the beginning, David would speak at symposiums and as a guest on radio and television programs.  Over time however, David recognized that with each appearance, the demand continued to build.  In addition, David recognized that most of his audience were already knowledgeable to some degree, as he says it, “I’m preaching to the converted”.  Taking these two realities into consideration, he saw that the greatest good could be achieved by starting his own program that would reach the widest audience – even those who may not have any interest at first, or those who had no previous access to the valuable information being delivered.  David’s simple dream is to shift the paradigm of thinking about aging in America to a healthy one.

Juliet Hahklotubbe – Director of Community Relations:

Juliet is far more than just the friendly voice on the other end of the phone when you contact us.  Aside from her daily routine to promote the show in all of our target demographics, she has been tasked with assisting with set design, collateral creation/distribution and taking on the monumental task of acting as moral support for the entire team.  Juliet, co-owner and administrator of a small chain of long term care communities serving our elders with memory impairment, shares the same passion for sending out our message as she sees on a daily basis, families in crisis who would have benefited from education prior to the “expected chaos” of the aging process.

Charlene Fierros – Director of Marketing

Charlene, “the bug in your ear”, has a relentless passion and heavy responsibility to get our show off the shelf and on the air.  Charlene has been working in the field of long term care for several years in the capacity of sales and marketing.  Her passion comes from the fact that, in her capacity, she has a front row seat to the ugly side of what happens when individuals choose not to seek out accurate and unbiased information or place trust in those with a conflict of interest.  Fueled by her honesty, integrity and altruistic motives, we know that our sponsors will immediately feel a level of comfort and trust, leading to a harmonious long-term relationship.

Scott Patterson – Web Guy Extraordinaire

We don’t know if Scott works well without pressure since we’ve never given him the opportunity.  We are constantly throwing content, layouts, links and photos (which are usually in the wrong format, off-sized or just bad) at him and tell him we need it posted yesterday.  In addition to his workhorse abilities, he also hosts and manages our site.

Leah Simons – Official Shutterbug

Since our show is more like a co-op, we attempt to do everything “in-house”.  When we whipped out our fine digital camera to shoot photos for our site, in particular our logo, we realized how much of an art photography really is.  Having seen Leah’s work, we were hoping and praying she was available for us.  Not only was she available at a moment’s notice, she donated her time as well as her personal costs.  Is that a halo over her head?
