Be a Producer!

Have you ever wanted to see your name in the credits of a television show? 

Are you interested in volunteering minutes of your time for a great cause? 

Wanna be a hero? 

Then, become a producer for our show in your area. 

It’s easy – here’s how it works:

The typical bylaws of any local cable access station require that any submissions for airing be produced locally.  Specifically, they want the show to be brought to the studio for airing (in most cases just once and then mailed from that point forward) by a resident of the immediate area that the program will be shown.  This creates a logistical nightmare for our program but we feel that it’s well worth jumping through the hoops to get our program out to as many viewers as possible.

What we need from our volunteers is to simply:

• Take our program to your local cable access studio
• Become a member of the studio (we cover any fees)
• Sign a release form using your name and mailing address as the producer

Each cable access station works slightly differently – in the event that they ask you to assume liability for the content, please don’t panic.  Since we are not selling anything, using profanity or showing anything considered lewd or offensive, there is nothing to worry about.  In reality, the stations will admit, they only make you sign these forms because they don’t pre-screen any of the programs themselves and don’t want to assume any liability.
