Nominate an Elder
Each of our episodes ends with a segment called “Elder of the Month”. This segment is dedicated to celebrating an exceptional Elder, an Elder who exemplifies the concept of “Successful Aging”. If you have someone in mind, please feel free to nominate them – here’s how:
Criteria
We deliberately want to keep the parameters very wide open for this. Here’s all we’re asking of you:
- Be sure the nominee is at least 55 years of age
- Provide a mailing address for the elder so we can send them their
certificate and gift.
- Provide a brief biography
- Provide a comprehensive supportive essay explaining why the nominee
deserves the honor
- If selected, you will be asked to provide at least 3 photographs. You can provide either digital images by email or actual photographs (if you would like them returned, please
provide a self addressed, stamped envelope).
- If selected, be prepared to have the nominee fill out an image release
form - although this steals the element of surprise, it is required by law -
spoil sports!
